Defendants to debate from tomorrow as petitioners conclude their pleading

KATHMANDU, June 27: Debates by the legal practitioners pleading on behalf of the writ petitioners against the House dissolution move has been over. 

The constitutional bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR has allotted a total of 12 hours for the petitioners for the initial debate, which they consumed on Sunday afternoon. 

They will now have three hours for a reply debate after the legal practitioners and government attorneys debate on behalf of the defendants. 

The defendants will start pleading on the case starting Monday.
