“Lawmakers are not like bonded laborers though it’s multiparty system”

KATHMANDU, June 27: Senior advocate Satish Krishna Kharel has said that political parties can’t keep the parliamentarians under control as the bonded laborers even as it is the multiparty democratic system being practised in Nepal. 

Participating in the debate on behalf of the writ petitioners on house dissolution case on Sunday, senior advocate Kharel said that lawmakers can’t be tamed as the bonded laborers in the name of enforcing multiparty system. 

On the occasion, he argued that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was relieved of his post constitutionally though he did not tender his resignation from his position.
