PM Oli has only four Cabinet colleagues as these 20 relieved of their positions

KATHMANDU, June 22: The Supreme Court 9SC) has passed an order to annul the expansion of Cabinet by KP Sharma Oli in his capacity as the caretaker prime minister.

A division bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR and Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana , on Tuesday, ordered that the twenty ministers including 11 those from the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) be relieved of their positions as Cabinet members

With this, only four ministers, who were the Cabinet members before the May 22 House dissolution move, will remain intact in their capacity as ministers. Bishnu Poudel, Basant Nembang, Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Lilanath will remain with Oli.

Twenty others, however, were relieved as per Tuesday’s SC verdict. They were inducted in the Cabinet even after the lower house of parliament was dissolved and KP Oli automatically turned into the caretaker prime minister. See the list:
