We have taken note of recent political developments in Nepal, says India

KATHMANDU, May 26: India has said that it has taken note of the recent political developments in Nepal. 

Arindam Bagchi, Spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, said that Nepal's political affairs are its internal affairs. “We view these as internal matters of Nepal to be dealt with by them under their own domestic framework and democratic processes.”

In response to media queries on recent political developments in Nepal, the Spokesperson Bagchi said that  India remains unwavering in its support for Nepal and its people on their journey toward progress, peace, stability and development.

India’s statement comes in the wake of dissolution of Nepal’s lower house of parliament for the second time in the past five months.
