Record-high 88 COVID-19 deaths added in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, May 9: Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed 78 more deaths due to COVID-19 in the country.
According to the ministry, 52 patients succumbed to the disease in the past 24 hours while data of 36 other deaths was also received during this period. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death tally has soared to 3,710.
Nepal had reported the first COVID-19 death on May 16, 2020.
