Special session of Lumbini Province Assembly prorogued

 

 BUTWAL, May 2: The special session of the Lumbini Province Assembly has been prorogued.

Governor of the province, Dharmanath Yadav prorogued the special session of the provincial assembly upon the recommendation of Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel.

 The special assembly was scheduled to discuss and settle the no-confidence motion registered against CM Pokharel. 

 Opposition parties including Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and Janta Samajbadi Party had filed the motion against Pokharel on April 19.
