KATHMANDU, May 1: Nepal on Saturday reported the record-high single day spike of coronavirus cases as 5,763 people were diagnosed with the viral disease in the past 24 hours.
As the second wave of the virus started spreading Nepal last month, the country has reported a massive surge in positive cases and fatalities.
According to the health ministry, there are 43,213 patients who are yet to recover from the disease while 3,298 others have so far succumbed to the lethal virus.
