DPM Mahara leaving Wednesday for China

Kathmandu - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara will pay an official to the People's Republic of China from Wednesday, leading a Nepali delegation at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. 

The delegation comprises Ambassador of Nepal to China and senior officials of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here today.
 
During the visit, DPM Mahara will hold delegation level talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs is also scheduled to meet senior Chinese leaders and attend a talk programme in the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing. 

DPM Mahara will inaugurate the newly established Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou on September 10. He will also address the business community and meet the provincial leaders in Guangzhou. He will also visit the Hebei Province and meet the provincial leaders. 

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs is scheduled to return home on September 11, adds the release.
