KATHMANDU, Oct 20: The government has begun implementing the decision to prohibit selling of plastic flowers and garlands.
With the Tihar festival on our doorsteps, the government has decided to ban producing, selling and storing of plastic flowers and garlands.
As per the notice issued by the Department of Environment, those found selling plastic flowers and garlands will be fined up to Rs 100,000.
