Five die, two go missing in a landslide in Jumla

KATHMANDU, Oct 8: Five people died and two other went missing in a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at Kanka Sundari Rural Municipality-5 of Jumla district.
According to Mukesh Kumar Keshari, Chief District Officer, two people have gone missing while two others were rescued safely.
Nepal has been witnessing heavy rainfall since Wednesday. Water levels in major rivers have gone up and highways are disrupted by landslides.
