Govt calls for applications for recruitment of 150,000 temporary police
Top priority to those served as temporary police during the local polls.

KATHMANDU, Sep 11: The government has called for applications for recruitment of 150,000 temporary police to be mobilized during the upcoming election of federal and provincial level.
Those willing to get recruited can now file applications from September 15 to September 22.
The application forms will be available in all the district police offices across the nation.
The government has decided to provide a salary of Rs 41,960 to the temporary police to be recruited during the upcoming polls.
Apart from their salary, these temporary police personnel will also be provided a travel allowance of Rs 1,000 and Rs 6,000 for their uniform.
These temporary police personnel will serve the government during the election for 40 days.
