Sandeep decides to leave CPL, claims to be innocent

KATHMANDU, Sep 9: After being accused of raping a 17 years old girl, Sandeep Lamichhane, captain of Nepal’s National Cricket Team, has announced to leave the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and return home soon.

Taking to his social media account, Lamichhane maintained that he is innocent and is ready to face all sorts of ‘baseless allegations’. 

Lamichhane has already been suspended by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and an arrest warrant has been issued against him.
