Niharika case: Shivaraj Shrestha appears at court, to undergo DNA test

KATHMANDU, Sep 8: Shivaraj Shrestha, who has been accused in Niharika Rajput’s case, made an appearance at Janakpur High Court  and is scheduled to undergo a DNA test.

The test is being conducted to find out if Shrestha is the biological father of a baby given birth by  Niharika Rajput.

Niharika has been maintaining that Shivaraj Shrestha raped her and she then gave a birth to a baby. Shrestha on his part have stated that they were in love and had  sexual intercourse with consent.

Earlier, the Dhanusha District Court had given clean chit to Shrestha. Niharika then appealed for justice at the Janakpur High Court.
