Accused Lamichhane seeks CAN’s support

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Sandeep Lamichhane, captain of Nepal’s National Cricket Team, who has been accused of raping a 17 years old girl sought a legal support from the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
According to Prashant Bikram Malla, acting coach of CAN, Lamichhane has maintained that he is ready to face the situation legally and asked for CAN’s support.
Lamichhane is currently at West Indies to play the Caribbean Premier League.
