KATHMANDU, June 13: Cadres close to the Communist Party of Nepal ‘Biplav’ led by Netra Bikram Chand picketed the Durbarmarg-based Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) on Monday protesting against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
MCA-Nepal is a Development Board (Bikas Samiti), a government-owned legal entity established in April 2018 (Baisakh 2075 BS) under the Development Board Act, 2013 BS (1956 AD) by the government of Nepal. It is the agency for implementing the MCC Nepal Compact projects.
The government of Nepal has already endorsed the MCC-Nepal compact and the compact is one the track of being implemented.
