CPN (Maoist Center) to collect Rs 100 each from party members annually

KATHMANDU, June 5: The CPN (Maoist Center), a key coalition partner of the Deuba-led government, has decided to collect Rs 100 each from its party members annually.
A meeting of the former standing committee of the party took a decision to collect Rs 100 each from party members, according to Hari Bol Gajurel, former standing committee member.
The amount collected will be used for the operation of the party office and other events.
With 800,000 party members, the party can collect Rs 80 million in a year.
