CDO issues order to release Phurba Lama arrested on charge of misbehaving with actress Miruna Magar

KATHMANDU, Mya 31: The Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kathmandu, Gobinda Prasad Rijal, has issued an order to release Phurba Lama who was arrested on Monday on the charge of misbehaving with actress of Kabbadi 4 Miruna Magar.
After getting a complaint from actress Magar, Lama was arrested on Monday.
The CDO can issue a release order in cases that can be sentenced for less than one year in Nepal.
Earlier, a group of people staged a protest at Chabahil-based KL Tower against Miruna Magar demanding an apology, stopping screening of the movie and the release of Lama.
