Tara Air Twin-Otter plane crash: 12 more dead bodies being airlifted to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, May 30: Twelve more dead bodies of people that were killed in Tara Air’s Twin-Otter plane crash are being airlifted to Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Earlier, ten dead bodies were airlifted to Kathmandu by a Nepal Army helicopter on Monday.

22 people, including 19 passengers and three crew members, who were killed in the Tara Air’s Twin-Otter plane crash on Sunday.

Passengers killed in the crash have been identified as Indra Bahadur Gole, Purushettam Gole, Rajan Kumar Gole, Mick Grayt, Basanta Lama, Ganesh Narayan Shrestha, Rabina Shrestha, Rashmi Shrestha, Rojina Shrestha, Prakash Sunuwar, Makar Bahadur Tamang, Ram Maya Tamang, Sukumaya Tamang, Tulsa Devi Tamang, Ashok Kumar Triphati, Dhanush Triphati, Kritika Triphati, Yubi Wilnar and Baibhabi Bandekar.

Likewise, the plane was being operated by captain Pravakar Ghimire and his assistant Utssav Pokharel along with airhostess Kismi Thapa.
