Tara Air Twin-Otter plane crash: Five member investigation committee formed

KATHMANDU, May 30: The government has formed a five member investigation committee to investigate the Tara Air Twin-Otter plane crash.

Twenty-two people including 19 passengers and three crew members were killed in the plane crash. The plane that had taken off from Pokhara Airport at 9.55 went out of contact at 10.7 am Sunday. It was flying towards Jomsom, Mustang. 

The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of senior aeronautical engineer Ratish Chandra Lal Suman, according to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Dead bodies of 21 people who were killed in the Tara Air Twin-Otter plane crash on Sunday have been recovered so far. Body of one passenger is yet to be found.
