Court grants five days to investigate over rape-accused Pandey
KATHMANDU, May 23: The District Court of Kathmandu granted five days to investigate over rape-accused Manoj Pandey om Monday.
After arresting Pandey, the police had taken him to the court and demanded time to investigate the case.
A human trafficking and sumggling case has been filed against Manoj Pandey, who has been accused of raping a girl few years back.
A girl ‘Sushmita’ recently publicized a series of TikTok videos accusing Pandey of raping her after beibg druged inviting her to a success party at Everest Hotel in Kathmandu.
Accused Pandey was arrested from Swayambhu, Kathmandu on Saturday.
Pandey, originally from Bairahawa, was the organizer of Miss Global International in 2014.
Earlier, the court also recorded the statement of the victim.
