NC candidate Maharjan leading vote count in Lalitpur metropolis

KATHMANDU, May 14: Chiri Babu Maharjan, Nepali Congress’s candidate for the post of mayor, is currently leading the vote count in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

Maharjan has garnered 28 votes while his nearest contender Hari Krishna Byanjankar, UML’s candidate, has collected 10 votes.

So far, 50 votes have been counted.
