UML candidate Ghale elected chairperson of Nesyang RM of Manang

KATHMANDU, May 14: Kancha Ghale has been elected as the Chairperson of Nesyang Rural Municipality of Manang.
Ghale garnered 861 votes while his nearest contender Chiring Omgma Gurung (Ghale), Nepali Congress’s candidate, collected 713 votes.
Likewise, Chiring Gurung, an independent candidate backed by CPN-UML, has been elected in the post of Vice Chairperson of the Rural Municipality. He had garnered 744 votes. His nearest contender was Renjen Dirje Gurung of Nepali Congress who collected 719 votes.
