Vote count of Lalitpur metropolis to begin at 11 AM

KATHMANDU, May 13: The vote count in Lalitpur metropolis is scheduled to begin at 11 AM on Saturday. 

An all party meeting held at 8 AM this morning took a decision to this effect.

Chiri Babu Maharjan, candidate of Nepali Congress for the ruling alliance and Hari Krishna Byanjankar, CPN-UML’s candidate are two top contenders vying for the post of mayor of the metropolis.

Likewise, Babu Raj Bajracharya, candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) for the ruling alliance and Anjali Shakya, UML’s candidate are two top contenders vying for the post of deputy mayor of the metropolis.

Chiri Babu Maharjan is vying for a second term.
