Ruling alliance’s candidate leads vote count in Bagmati RM of Lalitpur
KATHMANDU, May 14: Candidate of the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count in Bagmati Rural Municipality of Lalitpur.
Of 419 votes counted, Bir Bahadur Lopchan, candidate of Nepali Congress for the post of Chairman representing the ruling alliance, garnered 216 votes. His nearest contender was Nawaraj Sanjel, UML’s candidate, collecting 196 votes.
Likewise, Bhakta Bahadur Darlami, candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) representing the ruling alliance, is leading the vote count for the post of Vice-Chairman of the Rural Municipality.
