UML’s candidate Ghale re-elected Chairman of Chame Rural Municipality
KATHMANDU, May 14: Lokendra Bahadur Ghale has been elected new chairman of Chame Rural Municipality of Manang district.
Ghale had contested in the election representing the main opposition party CPN-UML.
Ghale was elected for the post for the second time garnering 320 votes while his nearest candidate Tsering Dorje Lama of Nepali Congress collected 279 votes.
Likewise, Mingmar Doma Lama, candidate of Nepali congress, has been elected for the post of Vice-Chairman of the Rural Municipality.
