Local Polls: Voting postponed in 34 polling centers

KATHMANDU, May 13: Voting has been postponed in 34 polling centers across the country on Friday.

After conflicts and clashes intensified in these places, the elections were postponed. 

The Election Commission will announce the next date of polls soon.

According to Bishnu Kumar KC, spokesperson for the Nepal Police, voting was postponed in 10 polling centers of Sudurpaschim Province, one in Province 1, nine in Madhesh Province, seven in Bagmati Province and three in Karnali Province.

The voting was successfully held only in Lumbini Province.
