NC cadres beats Vyas Municipality’s mayor candidate Joshi

KATHMANDU, May 13: Deepak Raj Joshi, independent mayor candidate of Vyas Municipality has been beaten by cadres of Nepali Congress (NC) on Friday.

Joshi has suffered some injuries in his head. 

The incident occured after the ballot paper was torn. 

The main opposition party, CPN-UML, had also supported Joshi’s candidacy for the post of mayor in the election.
