WHO’s Director General calls on Health Minister Kathiwada
Nepal to support Ghebreyesus for his second tenure

KATHMANDU, April 21: Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who is currently on his three day official visit to Nepal, called on Minister for Health and Population (MoHP), Birod Kathiwada this afternoon.
During their meeting, Minister Kathiwada maintained that Nepal will support Ghebreyesus for his next tenure as the Director General of WHO.
Director Ghebreyesus arrived here in Kathmandu on the invitation of Minister Kathiwada this afternoon.
During his stay in Nepal, Ghebreyesus is scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka.
