Director General of WHO to visit Nepal on Thursday

KATHMANDU, April 20: Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on his three day official visit on Thursday.
Director Ghebreyesus is visiting Nepal from April 21 to 23 on the invitation of Birod Kathiwada, Minister for Health and Population, according to the MInistry of Foreign Affairs.
During his stay in Nepal, Ghebreyesus is scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Similarly, Director Ghebreyesus will also hold meetings with Minister for Health and Population Birodh Kathiwada and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka.
