Ghimire elected President of NBA, Khanal elected secretary general

KATHMANDU, April 8: Gopal Krishna Ghimire has been elected in the post of President of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA).
Ghimire was elected President with 4,433 votes while his nearest contender, Vishnumani Adhikari, garnered 2,482 votes.
Likewise, Anjita Khanal has been elected in the post of the secretary general of the association. She garnered 3,682 votes in the election. Kedar Prasad Koirala was her nearest contender who garnered 2,889 votes.
Ghimire contested the election representing the ruling alliance.
