Home Minister Khand is acting PM

KATHMANDU, April 1: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has entrusted Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand with the responsibility of acting Prime Minister of the country.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba flew to India on Friday afternoon on his three day official visit leading a 50 member Nepali delegation.
Khand has been entrusted with the title on the recommendation of Prime Minister Deuba.
The team is scheduled to return to Nepal at 6:10 on Sunday.
