Tri-T20 series Nepal VS PNG: Nepal sets target of 184

KATHMANDU, March 28: In the first match of tri-T20 series played against Papua New Guinea (PNG) on Monday, Nepal set a target of 184 runs for victory.

Winning the toss, Assad Vala, PNG’s captain, has chosen to bowl first.

The game is being played at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground.

Nepal, losing nine wickets, scored 183 runs in 20 overs of the game.

Aarif Sheikh hit 31 runs, opener Kushal Burtel scored 20 and Aasif Sheikh scored 43 runs for Nepal.

Likewise, Rohit Kumar Poudel contributed 38 runs, Kiran KC scored 14 and Kushal Malla scored 11 runs.
