EC decides to ask Janak Education Material Center to print 20 million ballot papers

KATHMANDU, March 27: At the time when the local level election is on our doorsteps, the Election Commission (EC) has decided to ask the Janak Education Material Center to print as many as 20 million ballot papers.
“The center has already been directed for the same, said Saligram Sharma Poudel,” spokesperson for the poll body.
Printing of the ballot paper is scheduled to begin from March 28.
The ballot papers will be first printed for the Himalayan and Hilly regions then for other urban regions.
The center has been asked to complete the printing by May 3.
The poll body has also begun preparations to publish a final voter list.
