Massive fire breaks out in Damauli, helicopter deployed from Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 6: A massive fire broke out at Damauli Bazar of Tanahu district on Sunday, according to the District Administration Office, Tanahu. 

Helicopter has been deployed from the capital city, Kathmandu, to bring the fire under control.

"As the fire has gone out of control and is almost impossible to bring  under control using vehicles, helicopters have been deployed," said an officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

It has been learnt that electric short circuiting was the main cause of the fire in the area.
