After hiatus of six months, Constitutional Bench resuming hearing on Friday

KATHMANDU, March 4: After the acting-Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (SC), Deep Kumar Karki formed a constitutional bench, the bench is scheduled to conduct hearings from Friday after a hiatus of six months. 

The bench includes Justices Mira Khadka, Hari Krishna Karki, Bishwambar Prasad Shrestha and Ishwor Kathiwada.

The bench is scheduled to conduct hearings on cases of appointments made by the government in various constitutional bodies.

Writ petitions were filed at the apex courts accusing the government of making appointments in various constitutional organs acting against the Constitution of Nepal.
