KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Protesters and security personnel clashed at New Baneshwar, Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Cadres of political parties opposing the Millennium Challenge Corporation- Nepal Compact (MCC) took to streets on Wednesday. Huge number of security personnel were deployed to disperse the crowd and control the situation.
As the clash intensified, the security personnel fired tear gas and water cannons.
