IN PICS: Statue stolen from Lalitpur-based Balkumari Temple recovered

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Police have handed over a lost statue of Balkumari Temple, Lalitpur.
The statue was recovered from Khumaltar after the locals informed police about a suspicious object in the area, according to SSP Yaga Binod Pokharel of Lalitpur. “Whereabouts of the thief is under investigation,” he added.
Locals have re-established the statue in the temple this morning.
