Lab incharge of Shahid Gangalal Hospital dismissed on charge of forging fake PCR reports

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Lab incharge of Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center has been dismissed on the charge of forging fake Polymerase Chain Reaction  (PCR) test reports.

According to Dr. Chandra Mani Adhikari, director of the Hospital, Binod Kumar Yadav, the lab in charge at the Hospital has been dismissed as per the recommendation of the investigation committee.

It has been learned through the investigation that Yadav has been forging fake PCR tests reports in the name of Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and other private laboratories.

After receiving a complaint, the Commission for Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA)directed the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center to conduct an investigation of the case.
