SC: Full court in CJ Rana’s cabin

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: A full court meeting earlier summoned by the Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana is scheduled to begin in the Rana’s cabin at the Supreme Court (SC).
It has been maintained that CJ Rana himself will also be attending the meeting. Earlier, CJ Rana was expected to skip the meeting.
The meeting is being held in the wake of the onset of the third wave of COVID-19 triggered by the highly infectious Delta and Omicron variants in recent days.
Tuesday’s full court will take necessary decisions to arrange service delivery procedures amid the rising fears of COVID-19.
Judges and staff at various courts including the apex court contracted COVID-19 of late.
