Education Ministry to decide if schools can conduct classes in physical presence of students or not today

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is scheduled to hold a meeting to decide whether to let schools to conduct classes in the physical presence of students or not amid a growing concern of COVID-19 transmissions.
Earlier on Sunday, the COVID-19 Crisis Management Coordination Committee (CCMCC) recommended the government to close the schools up to grade 10 until January 29 in view of the rising cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The government is likely to make a decision regarding the recommendation of the CCMCC later today.
