IN PICS: Livelihood hit following heavy snowfall in Helambu

KATHMANDU, December 29: Livelihood in the upper belt of Helambu Rural Municipality has been severely hit following a massive snowfall from Monday night.
Most of the upper hilly region and mountainous region of the country is experiencing heavy snowfall.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has maintained that there will be gradual improvement in weather conditions across the country from Thursday.
Issuing an advisory for the next 24 hours, the division has warned the general public to stay alert as the change in weather has severely affected the flights and transportation and to avoid mountaineering.
