Two arrested on the charge of entering NBA, threatening advocates

KATHMANDU, November 19: Police arrested two people on the charge of entering the Nepal Bar Association building premises and threatening the advocates.

The arrestees have been identified as Tirtha Dhakal and Sitaram Shrestha. They were arrested from Boudha, Kathmandu last night, according to SP Ramesh Basnet of the Metropolitan Police Range.

Earlier on Thursday, four people had entered the NBA premises, while the association was staging a protest against the Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, and threatened advocates.

According to the police, accused Dhakal is a resident of Boudha, Kathmandu and Shrestha of Mulpani, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-6.
