Nine cadres of Biplab-led NCP arrested on charge of imposing ‘banda’
KATHMANDU: Police have arrested six cadres of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’ on the charge of imposing ‘Nepal banda’ (general shutdown).
SP Ramesh Kumar Basnet shared that six people including Ram Krishna Giri, Bhuwan Tamang and Suk Bahadur Tamang were arrested from Sankhu and Maharajgunj in the capital on Tuesday morning.
NCP has called a general shutdown [Nepal banda] as a protest against the hike of petroleum products, for Tuesday.
