KATHMANDU: Biratnagar Warriors have registered their first victory in the ongoing edition of Nepalis franchise Everest Premier League being held in Kathmandu. 

In the first match on Sunday, the Warriors, who were asked to bat first after the Kings won the toss, scored 104 runs for the loss of five wickets. The match was reduced to 8 overs on each side due to a wet outfield. Thanks to Anil Sah blitzkrieg of 45 runs off just 16 runs. He was also named the player of the match.

Chasing the target of 105 runs, the Kings could score 97 runs losing three wickets. While Rayyan Pathan of Warriors took two wickets, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 28 and Subash Khakuel 24 for Kings.
