Three of a family killed in landslide in Gulmi

KATHMANDU, September 22: Three members of a family died in a landslide triggered by an incessant rainfall on Tuesday night.
The deceased were sisters from Thumka Tole of Resunga Municipality-8 of Gulmi district. They were daughters of Tilak Pariyar, Bawana Pariyar, 21, twins (Ganga and Jamuna) 14 years old. Their younger sister was rescued by neighbours.
Dead bodies of the deceased were recovered later by Nepal Army personnel.
According to DSP Purushottam Pandey, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the dead bodies have been recovered and other families residing nearby have been relocated to safer places.
