PM Deuba appeals to observe Teej following proper COVID-19 safety protocols

KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended best wishes to all Nepali sisters on the occasion of Haritalika Teej on Thursday.
PM Deuba wished good health and longevity to the sisters on this occasion, which he said is a culture festival promoting social harmony.
In the message of best wishes, PM Deuba wished Teej fostered further tolerance and harmony and helped end gender discrimination in Nepali society.
He also appealed to the people to maintain safety protocol while celebrating Teej in the wake of COVID-19.
