India scores equalizer goal

KATHMANDU: India’s Anirudh Thapa scored an equalizer goal in the 60th minute of the ongoing match between Nepal and India.
Indian Captain Sunil Chhetri received the ball around 30 yards away from the goal, swiveled and unleashed a long-range effort. Nepalis goalkeeper Kiran Kumar Limbu somehow kept the ball out. Thapa rushed in to bundle the ball home.
The match is being played at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu.,
Earlier, Nepali forward Anjan Bista scored the opening goal for Nepal in the 36th minute.
