Four go missing when landslide buries house in Rasuwa

RASUWA, August 19: Four persons have gone missing when a landslide triggered by a heavy rainfall buried a house at Koldanda of Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 in Rasuwa district on Wednesday night.
Shyam Bahadur Galan, owner of the damaged house, was injured in the disaster, according to the District Police Office, Rasuwa.
“He has been sent to Trishuli Hospital for further treatment,” said Chief District Officer Ishwori Prasad Dhakal. “Teams of Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force have been mobilized at the incident site for rescue operations,” he added.
The incident site is around 50 kilometers south of the district headquarters, Dhunche. (RSS)
