Former NEA GM Shakya moves Supreme Court seeking reinstatement

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Former General Manager of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Hitendra Dev Shakya has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding his reinstatement .
Baburam Dahal, deputy registrar at the Supreme Court told Ratopati that Shakya lodged the petition against his dismissal from the authority.
The government appointed Kulman Ghising as the authority’s managing director for the second term on August 11. Shakya was transferred to the Energy Commission.
