Govt decides to evacuate Nepalis in Afghanistan at earliest

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The government has decided to evacuate the Nepalis in Afghanistan at the earliest. 

A Cabinet meeting held at the official residence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, on Monday, decided to make immediate and safe rescue of those Nepali nationals who have been left stranded in Afghanistan, according to the government spokesperson, Gyanendra Karki. 

"Taking serious note of the situation in Afghanistan, the Cabinet decided to rescue the Nepali nationals there safely and expeditiously," Karki said.
